Light snow is expected to develop across the area after midnight, shifting to the southeast through the predawn hours. This band of light snow will affect the region by the Thursday morning commute, eventually pushing south of the area by mid- morning.
Minor snow accumulations of less than an inch are expected, but cold ground conditions will allow for quick accumulation on any untreated surfaces. The main impacts are expected to be reduced visibilities and some slick spots on untreated surfaces.
Motorists should exercise caution. Plan extra time for the Thursday morning commute.

Beulah Buck
Beulah Mae "Boo" Buck, 79, 106 Lakeland Blvd., Celina, died at 6:14 p.m. Dec. 9, 2008, at her residence.
She was born June 14, 1929, in Mercer County, to Homer and Lydia Good Brookhart. On Aug. 12, 1950, she married Billie Bliss Buck, who survives at the residence.
Surviving are a brother, Stanley (Trudy) Brookhart, Lima; four sisters, Dorothy Rice, Lima, Loa Walker, St. Marys, Wanda Ferner, Portland, Ind., and Janice Hone, Mendon.
Deceased is a brother, Carl Brookhart.
She was a homemaker and a 1947 graduate of Celina High School.
Private services were held Dec. 13, 2008, and burial was at Swamp College Cemetery, near Celina.
Contributions can be made to State of the Heart Hospice.
