Bonnie Garland
Former Fort Recovery resident Bonnie E. Garland, 44, 912 N. Elm St., Coldwater, died at 4:47 p.m. Jan. 9, 2009, at Lima Memorial Hospital. Death was due to natural causes.
She was born July 24, 1964, in St. Marys, to Louis and Alma Hoehne Timmerman. Her mother survives in Coldwater.
Other survivors are a son, James Meinerding, Coldwater; and two sisters, Nancy (Pat) Reinhard, Fort Recovery, and Shirley (Ernie) Bergman, Maria Stein.
She worked for Big Brothers and Big Sisters, St. Marys. She was a 1982 graduate of Fort Recovery High School and a graduate of Vantage Career Center.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul Catholic Church, Sharpsburg, the Rev. Charles Mullen officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9-9:45 a.m. Wednesday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery.
