A few hours of light snow are expected late this evening, mainly after 8 pm. While accumulations will be light, some challenging travel conditions may develop given the cold temperatures.
Additional snow may linger through Monday morning with accumulations remaining light. However, increasing winds and very cold temperatures will support blowing snow, primarily in rural areas.
Challenging travel conditions will be possible starting late this evening, continuing through the day on Monday. Use caution and allow for extra time to reach your destination.

* IMPACTS...The cold wind chills as low as 10 below zero could result in hypothermia if precautions are not taken. Wind chill values can lead to hypothermia with prolonged exposure.

Lela Partin
Mercer County native Lela E. Partin, 96, of Van Wert, died at 8:10 p.m. Jan. 9, 2009, at Vancrest Healthcare Center, Van Wert.
She was born Jan. 16, 1912, in Mercer County, to Charles and Jenny Hole Gray. On June 29, 1939, she married J.R. Partin, who died Aug. 23, 1995.
Survivors are a sister, Velma Quinter, Dayton; and two sisters-in-law, Rose Ann Gray, Celina, and Shirley Partin, Van Wert.
Deceased are four brothers, Arley, Richard, Larry and Gerald Gray; four sisters, Edith Adams, Margaret Bertke, Mary Ellen Jutte and Betty Jane Cummins.
She was a homemaker and member of Wesley United Methodist Church and the Women of the Moose, both of Van Wert.
Services are 11 a.m. Friday at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory, Van Wert, the Rev. Jay Nesselroad officiating. Burial is at Woodland Cemetery, Van Wert.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Thursday and after 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
