Marilyn Bruns
Marilyn K. Bruns, 68, 91 S. State St., Chickasaw, died Jan. 27, 2009, at Celina Manor Nursing Home.
She was born Oct. 26, 1940, in Minster, to Julius and Emma Meyer Baumer. On May 5, 1962, she married Lavern A. Bruns, who died May 30, 1996.
Surviving are a son, Thomas of Chickasaw; two brothers, Nicholas and Roger Baumer, both of Minster; and three sisters, Linda (George) Reier and Judy (Mike) Monnier, all of Sidney, and Susan (Jim) Jacobs, Coldwater.
She was a caretaker for family members and a member of Precious Blood Catholic Church in Chickasaw, where she had served as a CCD teacher.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. Larry Wyen officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Thursday and 9-10 a.m. Friday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
