Hot work in a cold place
Photo by Mark Pummell/The Daily Standard

Lincoln Jones, left, and Dan Schmackers of EL Davis Welding in Celina work on installing aluminum framework to the old docks and sidewalk at the hot water hole on Lake Shore Drive in Celina this week. Celina Safety Service Director Jeff Hazel says the old, dilapidated docks on the south side of the hot water hole are being replaced with material taken from the West Bank docks last year during the walkway project. In addition to installing new framework, the 100-foot docks will be widened and will meet the standards of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
