At 1212 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near New Bremen, moving northeast at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to vegetation.
Locations impacted include... Newport, Fryburg, Montra, Egypt, Uniopolis, New Bremen, Buckland, Botkins, New Knoxville, Fort Loramie, Kettlersville, Moulton, Jackson Center, St. Marys, Anna, Kossuth, Lakeview, Lake Loramie State Park, Waynesfield, and Wapakoneta.
This includes I-75 in Ohio between mile markers 96 and 118.

Helen Wiechart
Former Spencerville resident Helen M. Wiechart, 80, of Delphos, died at 2:30 p.m. Feb. 3, 2009, at Indiana University Hospital, Indianapolis.
She was born in Delphos on May 16, 1928, to Alphonse and Anna Marie Hesseling Schwinnen. On Nov. 25, 1954, she married James E. Wiechart, who survives.
Other survivors are four sons, John "Jack" (Joyce), and William "Bill" (Jan), all of Delphos, and Donald and James A., both of Spencerville; three daughters, Susan (Dana) Wiechart-White, Westerville, and Cathleen (Gary) Garman and Lori (Ron) Ringwald, all of Spencerville; a brother, George (Jane) Schwinnen, Delphos; four sisters, Irene and Irma Schwinnen and Rita (Don) Wannemacher, all of Delphos, and Doris (Ralph) Brinkman, Ottoville; 18 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a brother Arthur Schwinnen.
She was a bookkeeper at Rural Machine and Iron Works, Spencerville, and a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Spencerville, where she served as liturgist and a member of its Altar Rosary Society. She was also a member of Delphos St. Johns Funeral Rosary Prayer Group, a volunteer at Interfaith Thrift Center, Delphos, and member of the Catholic Daughter's of America. She graduated in 1946 from Delphos St. Johns High School.
Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. John Fleck officiating. Burial is at St. John's Catholic Cemetery, Delphos.
Calling is 6-8 p.m. today and 2-8 p.m. Friday at the Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home, Spencerville, where the Catholic Daughter's of America will conduct services at 3 p.m. Friday. A parish wake service will be at 7:45 p.m. Friday.
Contributions can be made to St. Patrick's Church or the Spencerville Invincible Fire Company.
