The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Harold Stephenson
Harold E. Stephenson, 94, formerly of Celina, died at 7:19 a.m. Feb. 12, 2009, at The Gardens at Celina.
He was born Sept. 16, 1914, in Celina, to George and Lutitia Byrley Stephenson. On Sept. 20, 1934, he married Dessi Marie Anderson, who died Oct. 3, 1980. On March 28, 1983, he married Opal Van Tillburg, who died May 2, 2002.
Surviving are stepchildren, Larry (Nancy) Van Tillburg, Brownsburg, Ind., Janice Garwick, Celina, Bruce (Marilyn) Van Tillburg, Fort Wayne, Ind., and Keith (Rebecca) Van Tillburg, Richmond, Ind.; three grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, a great-great-grandchild and several stepgrandchildren.
Deceased are his son and his wife, Dean and Rachel Stephenson; a stepson, Ronald Van Tillburg; a stepson-in-law, Richard Garwick; four brothers, Theodore, Ozwell, Robert and Donald; a brother and his wife, Calvin and Cecilia; an infant brother, John; five sisters, Maria Behm, Neddie Weir, Orlie Sutton, Dora Crouch and Edith Hines; and two infant sisters, Stella and Mary.
He retired from Westinghouse, Lima, after 34 years and was a generator assembler until 1976. A Celina High School graduate, he was a member of First Church of God, Celina, where he served as a deacon and former Sunday school teacher.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. Bruce Strine officiating. Burial is at North Grove Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is 2-6 p.m. Sunday at Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home, Celina, and after 9:30 a.m. Monday at the church.
