Jack Gilmore
Jack Allen Gilmore, 62, 195 N. Sixth St., Coldwater, died in the afternoon of Feb. 17, 2009, at Dayton Heart Hospital. Death was due to natural causes.
He was born May 21, 1946, in Piketon, to Edward and Edrie Trusty Gilmore. On Oct. 26, 1968, he married Donna Bruns, who survives.
Other survivors are two sons, Mike (Jackie) and Matt (Theresa), all of Coldwater; mother and father-in-law, Wilbert and Thelma Bruns, Coldwater; two brothers, Donald (Maureen) Gilmore, Piketon, and Rudy (Nancy) Gilmore of West Virginia; a sister, Elaine Cline, Chillicothe; a brother-in-law, Bob Smith, Lucasville; and four grandchildren.
Deceased are two sisters, Buelah Brandt and Catherine Smith.
He retired from the Village of Coldwater and was a bus driver for Coldwater Exempted Village Schools. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and a social member of the American Legion, both in Coldwater. He was a member of the Southshore Sportsman's Club, Celina, and was a former assistant fire chief for the Coldwater Fire Department.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, the Rev. Richard Walling officiating. Burial is at St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Friday and 9-10 a.m. Saturday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
