HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vehicles is possible. Expect wind damage to trees and power lines.
* Locations impacted include... Wapakoneta, Fort Shawnee, Cridersville, Rockford, Mendon, Buckland, Uniopolis, Chattanooga, Kossuth, Tama, St. Johns, Neptune, and State Route 116 at State Route 197.

Alvera Massonne
Alvera T. Massonne, 82, of Decatur, Ind., died March 3, 2009, at Visiting Nurses & Hospice Home, Fort Wayne, Ind.
She was born in Wabash Township, Jay County, Indiana, on Nov. 20, 1926, to August and Catherine Braun Homan. On Nov. 8, 1947, she married Harry E. Massonne, who died Oct. 2, 1980.
Surviving are four sons, Ron (Cindy), Winthrop, Wash., Don, Balston Lake, N.Y., Mike (Jill), Indianapolis, Ind., Pat (Kathy), Fort Wayne; a daughter, Karen Landrum, Decatur, Ind.; three sisters, Verena Goettemoeller and Mary Luebke, both of Celina, and Luella (Eugene) Reinhart, Bryant, Ind.; two brothers, Jim Homan, Coldwater, and Ivo (Betty) Homan, St. Henry; two sisters-in-law, Helen Reynolds, Monroeville, Ind., and Marjorie Bolinger, Van Wert; eight grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
She was a homemaker and worked at Wayne Novelty, Decatur. She was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, and its rosary society and study club, Decatur.
Funeral mass is 10 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. David Voors officiating. Burial is at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Decatur.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Friday at Haggard & Sefton Funeral Home, Decatur, where recitation of the rosary will be at 3:30 p.m. A prayer service is 9:20 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Contributions can be made to St. Joseph Catholic School, Decatur or Visiting Nurses and Hospice Home, Fort Wayne.
