Kathryn Spurlock
Kathryn B. "Kathy" Spurlock, 53, of Wapakoneta, died at 7:45 p.m. March 30, 2009, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima. Death was due to cancer.
She was born May 14, 1955, in St. Marys, to Alvin and Dolores Otting Schulze. Her father survives in St. Marys.
Other survivors are a daughter, Holly (James) Combs, Wapakoneta; two brothers, Bernard "Benny" Schulze, St. Marys, and Leonard Schulze, Wapakoneta; a sister, Agnes (James) Schmerge, St. Marys; and a granddaughter.
Deceased is a brother, William Schulze.
She was a homemaker and worked for more than 33 years at Ametek Westchester Plastics, Wapakoneta, and served as president of the U.E. Local #766. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie Auxiliary and the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge Auxiliary, all of Wapakoneta.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Henry Albietz officiating. Burial is at Gethsemane Cemetery, St. Marys.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday and 9:30-10 a.m. Saturday at Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home, Wapakoneta.
