* WHERE...Delaware, Union, Auglaize, Champaign, Darke, Hardin, Logan, Mercer, Miami, and Shelby Counties.
* WHEN...From 5 AM early this morning to 8 PM EDT this evening.
* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines. Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.

Evelyn Schulte

Evelyn Schulte, 95, 16 N. Lincoln Drive, Minster, died at 9:40 a.m. May 2, 2009, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home, Minster.

She was born Oct. 19, 1913, in Egypt to Anton and Catherine Schmiesing Meyer. On June 27, 1933, she married Maurice Schulte, who died Oct. 10, 1980.

Surviving are a son-in-law, Maurice (Grace) Boeke, Minster; and three grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchildren.

Deceased are a daughter, Marilyn Boeke; and brothers and sisters, Viola Shenk, Clarence, Art, Norb, Paul and Wilfred Meyer and Adelle Bernard.

She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary, both in Minster.

Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. Rick Nieberding officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.

Calling is 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9-9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
