* WHEN...From 5 AM early this morning to 8 PM EDT this evening.
* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines. Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.

Carl Binkley
Carl Victor Binkley, 98, former pastor of Mount Tabor Church of God, Celina, died at 12:15 a.m. April 28, 2009, at Concord Village and Lutheran Home, Fort Wayne, Ind., where he had lived for the past four years.
He was born Jan. 15, 1911, in Stockton, Ill., to George and Emma May Whisler Binkley. On July 30, 1938, he married Catherine Willson, who survives.
Other survivors are eight children, Victor (Donna) Binkley, Bluffton Ind., twins David (Sherrie) Binkley, Perrysburg, and Jonathan (Barbara) Binkley, Toledo, Stephen (Char) Binkley, Ossian, Ind., Timothy (Lou Ann) Binkley, Fort Wayne, Rose Mary (Joe) Lampton, Zanesville, Ind., Ruth Ann (Larry) Whatley, Ossian, Ind., and Rebekah (John) Montgomery, Kewanee, Ill.; 22 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are three brothers; three sisters; a grandson, and a great-grandson.
He and and his wife, both ordained ministers of the Churches of God General Conference, pastored churches in Illinois, Ohio and Indiana for more than 44 years. Their pastoral service at the Mount Tabor Church north of Celina was from 1956 to 1965. He retired from active ministry in 1982 while serving churches in Indiana, but remained in the ministry of visitation and pulpit supply until in his 90s.
Calling is noon to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Church of God, Zanesville, Ind. A celebration service will follow at 1 p.m. at the church. Burial is at Lanark City Cemetery, Lanark, Ill.
Contributions can be made to the Churches of God Project Help mission in Haiti or the Family Hospice and Palliative Care, Berne, Ind.
Arrangements are being handled by Elzey Patterson Rodak Funeral Home in Fort Wayne.
