The Mercer County DARE Boosters held their annual Art and Gardens Tour over the weekend. The rural Rockford residence of Pete and Twyla Hayes was one of six homes scheduled on the tour. Above, Twyla Hayes adjusts a planting in the "flower bed" at her home. Local artists also were featured at each stop on the tour.
