Southwest winds will increase this morning with the passage of a strong cold front. Southwest winds of 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 40 to 45 mph expected this morning into the afternoon before diminishing toward evening.
These gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects.

Charlotte Anspaugh
Charlotte Anspaugh, 91, 431 S. Wayne St., Mendon, died at 4:40 a.m. July 7, 2009, at the Laurel's of Shane Hill, Rockford.
She was born Aug. 2, 1917, in Mercer County to James and Ethel Snyder Shope. On June 10, 1937, she married Virgil Anspaugh, who survives.
Other survivors are a son, Floyd (Dorothy) Ansbaugh, Celina; a brother, Forrest (Virginia) Shope, Temple, Texas; a sister, Jeannie (Richard) Springer, Rockford; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a sister, Wanita Dale; and two brothers, Fredrick and Edward Shope.
She was a homemaker, worked at the former Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, St. Marys, and helped her husband farm until retirement. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Mendon.
Private services are 10:30 a.m. Friday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Don Clinger officiating. Burial is at Riverside Cemetery, Rockford.
There will be no calling hours.

Gertrude "Floy" Whetstone, 80, formerly of 03288 Easterly Road, St.Marys, died at 8:25 a.m. July 7, 2009, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. [More]
