* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Fayette, Franklin, Union and Wayne and Ohio, including the following counties, Auglaize, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hardin, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Preble, Ross, Shelby, Union and Warren.
* WHEN...From Saturday afternoon through Sunday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Another round of showers and thunderstorms is expected to move through the region Saturday into Saturday night. Given the saturated ground, additional heavy rainfall may result in flash flooding.

Gertrude Whetstone
Gertrude "Floy" Whetstone, 80, formerly of 03288 Easterly Road, St.Marys, died at 8:25 a.m. July 7, 2009, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg.
She was born Dec. 5, 1928, in Mendon to Charles and Bertha Werts Snyder. On Sept. 3, 1949, she married Glen E. Whetstone, who died Dec. 8, 2006.
Surviving are two daughters Pamela Kay Whetstone, Northwood, and Mitchi Lee Collette, Elmore; a sister, Kathryn (Glenn) Harner, Mendon; a brother, Von Dean (Esther) Snyder, Celina; a grandson and a great-grandson.
Deceased are a brother, Carl Snyder; and step-siblings, Eldon Snyder, Evelyn McCain, Marie Bennett, Dorothy Love and William Springer.
She worked for Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, and retired after 19 years as a cook for East Elementary School, both in St. Marys. She was a 1946 graduate of Mendon High School and a member of Salem United Methodist Church, Wapakoneta. She served as a 4-H advisor for many years and was unofficial mother to the members of the Toledo Rain women's professional football team.
Services are 11 a.m. Friday at the Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. Shawn Morris, officiating. Burial is at the Elm Grove Cemetery, St.Marys.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
