Luther Francis
Luther Gene Francis, 52, of Lakeview, died July 11, 2009, at his home. Death was due to natural causes.
He was born on Aug. 23, 1956, in Sidney, to Goldia Ratliff and E. L. Francis. His mother survives in Russells Point. On Nov. 12, 1999, he married Dori Barney, who survives.
Other survivors are a son, Shaun Craig, Fairborn; five sisters, Martha Hemmer, Bellefontaine, Mary Gullett, Russells Point, Linda (Richard) Kirkpatrick, Russells Point, Susan (Fred) Vagedes, Coldwater, and Sally (Jim) Page, Bellefontaine; four brothers; Pat (Charlene) Francis, Russells Point, Don (Crystal) Francis, Sidney, Jim (Connie) Francis, Lewistown, and Edgle (Mary Lou) Francis, Sidney; and a grandson.
He was a 1975 graduate of Indian Lake High School and veteran of the U.S. Army.
Services at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Shoffstall Funeral Home, Lakeview, the Rev. Greg Haisley officiating.
Calling is 4-7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
