Rosa Mary Obringer
Rosa Mary Obringer, 74, 2060 Northview Drive, Maria Stein, died at 12:30 p.m. July 31, 2009, at Good Samaritan Hospital, Dayton.
She was born March 6, 1935, in Cranberry Prairie to Edmund and Margaret Quinter Fiely. On June 25, 1955, she married Leroy Obringer, who died March 20, 2006.
Surviving are five children, Tom (Sheri) Obringer, Merritt Island, Fla., Cindy Obringer, Dayton, Lori (Fred) Boeke, New Weston, Dave (Vickie) Obringer, Maria Stein, and Bev Obringer, Canberra, Australia; a daughter-in-law, Mary Obinger, Coldwater; four sisters, Mary Lou Schulze, Carthagena, Irene Brussell, New Bremen, Mary Ann (John) Wendel, Fort Recovery, and Rita (Bob) Boeke, Chicago, Ill; a sister-in-law, Marilyn Fiely, St. Henry; nine grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Deceased are a son, Bill Obringer, and three brothers, Stanley, Art and Robert Fiely.
She was a bookkeeper/secretary for Hemmelgarn Eggs. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and its Rosary Altar Sodality and the American Legion Auxiliary, Maria Stein.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. Gene Schnipke officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
