* WHERE...Portions of east central Indiana, including the following county, Wayne and Ohio, including the following counties, Auglaize, Champaign, Clark, Darke, Delaware, Franklin, Greene, Hardin, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Preble, Shelby and Union.
* WHEN...Through Thursday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Multiple rounds of rain are possible Thursday. The heavier bands of rainfall may produce 2 to 4 inches with locally higher amounts.

Dorothy Shuffelton
Dorothy A. Shuffelton, 96, 88 N. Spruce St., St. Marys, died at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 7, 2009, at Otterbein St. Marys Retirement Community.
She was born March 1, 1913, in St. Marys to Charles and Alice Perraut Axe. On April 22, 1937, she married Frank B. Shuffelton, who died April 2, 1998.
Survivng are two sons, Frank C. (Jane) Shuffelton, Rochester, N.Y., and David (Julie) Shuffelton, Fort Loramie; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two sisters, Ann Haggard and Mary Axe; and a brother, Charles Axe.
She had worked as a registered nurse at the former Otis and Gibbons Hospitals, Celina, and helped establish the obstetrics department of Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys, from which she retired. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, St. Marys, and the Altar-Rosary Society of the church and the Legion of Mary. She graduated in 1930 from St. Marys Memorial High School and was a 1933 graduate of St. Rita's Hospital School of Nursing.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. Anthony Cutcher officiating. Burial is at Gethsemane Cemetery.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home, St. Marys.
