* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...The following county, in west central Ohio, Mercer.
* WHEN...Until 400 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1253 AM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1.5 inches are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Celina, Rockford, Wabash, Mendon, Tama and Neptune.

Thomas Hoening
Thomas Charles Hoening, 71, W. Tiffin St., Fostoria, died at 9:15 p.m. Aug. 29, 2009, at Fostoria Community Hospital.
He was born Dec. 6, 1937, in Coldwater to Baltus and Lova Tice Hoening. On May 13, 1961, he married Constance "Connie" L. Linneman, who survives.
Other survivors are two children, Terrence (Barbara) Hoening, Fostoria; and Victoria (Christopher) Sapp, Southgate, Ky.; and three grandchildren.
Deceased are seven brothers, Bill, Jim, Bob, John, Joe and infant twins, Tom and Charles.
He owned and operated Hoening Funeral Home, Fostoria from 1963 until the time of a disabling stroke in 1990.
He was a member of St. Wendelin Catholic Church, the 3rd and 4th degree Knights of Columbus, Fostoria, a former member of the Ohio Funeral Directors Association, National Funeral Directors Association, attended Villa Madonna College, Covington, Ky., and was a 1961 graduate of the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church, where the Rosary will be prayed at 10 a.m. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Hoening Funeral Home, Fostoria, where a Christian Wake service will be held at 3:45 p.m. and a 4th degree honor guard will take place from 6-8 p.m.
