The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a
* Flash Flood Warning for... Mercer County in west central Ohio...
* Until 700 AM EDT.
* At 309 AM EDT, radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 1.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
* Some locations that may experience flash flooding include... Celina, Coldwater, St. Henry, Fort Recovery, Rockford, Wabash, Mendon, Chickasaw, Montezuma, Tama, Carthagena, Neptune, Chattanooga and Maria Stein.

Robin Droesch
Robin Ann Droesch, 45, state Route 66, Newport, died at 8:35 p.m. Sept. 21, 2009, at 9365 state Route 47, Sidney, as the result of an automobile accident.
She was born Oct. 20, 1963, in Coldwater to Linus and Virginia Winhoven Braun, who survive in Fort Recovery. On May 12, 1990, she married Jeffrey Droesch, who survives.
Other survivors are a daughter, Renee Droesch, at home; a brother, Mike (Mandy) Braun; Bristol, Ind., brothers-in-law, Jerry (Nickie) Droesch, Minster, and Hal Wolf, Cincinnati; a sister-in-law, Denise Droesch, Minster; and nieces and nephews.
Deceased are a sister, Chris Wolf; and a mother and father-in-law, Mary Henke and LeRoy Droesch.
She worked at Freshway Foods in Sidney since 1992 and had worked at Sunny Side Egg Farms in Fort Recovery. She was a member of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Newport, where she served as a Lay Eucharistic Distributor. She was active in St. Ann's Ladies Sodality and the ladies auxiliary of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Minster. She graduated in 1982 from Fort Recovery High School.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Steven Shoup officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Friday and 9-10 a.m. Saturday at Gehret Funeral Home, Fort Loramie.
