At 153 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near De Graff, moving east at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph, frequent cloud-to-ground lightning, and very heavy rain.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Lightning can cause serious injury or death. Visibility will be poor and hydroplaning is possible.
Locations impacted include... Sidney, Bellefontaine, West Liberty, Jackson Center, Russells Point, De Graff, Lakeview, Chippewa Park, Roundhead, Quincy, Huntsville, Port Jefferson, Logansville, Mcmorran, Maplewood, New Hampshire, Bloom Center, Pemberton, Lewistown, and Springhills.
This includes I-75 in Ohio between mile markers 88 and 90.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building.
Motorists should slow down and use extra caution.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph, frequent cloud-to-ground lightning, and very heavy rain.
SOURCE...Radar indicated and surface observation station reported.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Lightning can cause serious injury or death. Visibility will be poor and hydroplaning is possible.
Locations impacted include... Ada, Alger, Waynesfield, Mcguffey, Dola, Huntersville, State Route 195 at State Route 235, and New Hampshire.

Maria Weiss
Maria Weiss, 75, 16 Circle Dr., New Bremen, died at 11:40 p.m. Oct. 4, 2009, at Lima Memorial Health System.
She was born on March 2, 1934, in Ideciul De Sus, Romania, to Johann and Maria Weiss Weiss. On Oct. 9, 1954, in Canada, she married George Weiss, who survives in New Bremen.
Other survivors are her children, Monika Weiss of Houston, Texas, Reinhard (Diane) Weiss of Cincinnati, and Erich (Christy) Weiss, North Canton; a brother, Johann Weiss; a sister, Katherina Karschti, both of Germany; and five grandchildren.
In 1996, she retired from Crown Equipment Corporation in New Bremen after 23 years. She was a member of the St. Paul United Church of Christ, New Bremen.
Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. Becky Erb Strang officiating. Burial is at the German Protestant Cemetery, New Bremen.
Calling is 9 a.m. Wednesday until the time of the services at the church.
Contributions can be made to the church memorial fund or to the World Vision Organization.
Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home of New Bremen is entrusted with arrangements.
