* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines. Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.

Project upgrades

Heavy equipment waits to continue an upgrade on the north side. Some of the canal bed has been filled in after workers discovered problems that could lead to flooding. A section of the canal remains in the foreground with plans to turn the area into the long-awaited New Bremen-New Knoxville Rotary Centennial Park.
