* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines. Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.

Woofstock

Dogs in all shapes and sizes find plenty to do at the 2009 Woofstock Dog Walk held Sunday afternoon at the Mercer County Fairgrounds. Sadie, a Yorkie arrayed in Halloween finery, dances for her owner Kim Giere as Amber Giere looks on. The Animal Protection League of Mercer County sponsored the event, which included hayrides, K-9 demonstrations, coloring contests and various dog competitions ranging from best kisser to best talker.
