* WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 10 to 20 below zero expected.
* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Indiana, northeast and northern Kentucky, and central, south central, southwest, and west central Ohio.
* WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to noon EST Saturday.
* IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 20 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.

Sub-zero temperatures and wind chill values are expected this morning. While most locations will have values in the negative single digits, some isolated temperatures and wind chills will briefly be as low as 10 to 15 degrees below zero.

William Mescher
William Mescher, 64, 201 Stewart Ave., Sidney, died of natural causes at 9:30 a.m. Nov. 20, 2009, at his residence.
He was born Oct. 31, 1945, to Norbert and Virginia Carlin Mescher. On Sept. 23, 1972, he married Lois Jean Meyer, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Kevin (Sarah) Mescher, St. Henry; two daughters, Lynn Mescher and Christa Mescher, both of Sidney; a sister, Helen "Butch" Jacobs, Coldwater; brothers-in-law, Kenneth (Ginger) Meyer, Piqua, Wayne (Annette) Meyer, Minster, and Edward O'Meara, Dayton; a sister-in-law, Paula (Ned) Hileman, Rockford; and one grandchild.
Deceased are a brother, Tom Mescher; a brother-in-law, Don Jacobs; and a sister-in-law, Barb O'Meara.
A member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, he was a Navy veteran having served on the USS Forrestal, 1967-69. He was a member of Coldwater American Legion and a former member of Mercer County EMS Coldwater Squad. He was active in Operation Freedom support. He retired from Minster Machine after 36 years of service.
Service is 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Burial will follow at St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater, with military honors by the Coldwater American Legion.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Monday and 9-10 a.m. Tuesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
