Colleen Walter
Colleen Joan Walter, 79, 1012 Fleck Ave., Celina, died at 12:02 a.m. Dec. 5, 2009, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
She was born Jan. 9, 1930, in Paulding County to O.B. and Viola Lee Gillette. On Feb. 20, 1949, she married Russell M. "Max" Walter, who died June 20, 1991.
Surviving are two daughters, Marla (Charles) Overman, Rockford, and Holly (Jerry) Myers, Haviland; and two grandsons.
Deceased are a brother, Ralph Gillette; and two sisters, Geraldine Muzzillo and Bonnie McGowen.
She was a homemaker and a member of Mount Zion United Methodist Church, Celina. She attended Haviland Schools in Paulding County and graduated from Hoaglin-Jackson High School, Van Wert County.
Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Don Ricard officiating. Burial is at Mercer Memory Gardens, Celina.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
