* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Northwestern Auglaize County in west central Ohio... Mercer County in west central Ohio...
* WHEN...Until 1045 PM EDT Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Expect many areas of slow moving or standing water.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 421 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported flooding in the warned area, with numerous roads remaining closed due to high water. Between 2.5 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen. Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Celina, St. Marys, Coldwater, New Bremen, Rockford, Wabash, Mendon, Chickasaw, Montezuma, Tama, Neptune, Carthagena, Bulkhead, State Route 116 at State Route 197, Chattanooga and Kossuth.

Raymond Flaute
Raymond C. Flaute, 89, 2171 Cassella-Montezuma Road, Maria Stein, died at 12:27 p.m. Dec. 17, 2009, at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater.
He was born Jan. 18, 1920, in McCartyville to John and Loretta Koverman Flaute. On July 2, 1949, he married Rita Ranly Flaute, who survives in St. Henry.
Other survivors are his children, Bill (Jane) Flaute, Riverside, Tom (Pat) Flaute, Minster, Ruth (Bill) Kuhlman, Ottawa, Marj (Mike) Millennor, Sharonville, and Teresa (Ken) Gerlach and Ann (Mike) Hemmelgarn, all of Carthagena; a son-in-law, Ken Prenger, Chickasaw; a daughter-in-law, Carol (Paul) Fleck, St. Sebastian; a sister-in-law, Betty Flaute, Rhine; a brother-in-law, Bob (Mary Ann) Hoying, Fort Loramie; 29 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Deceased are three sons, Steve, David and Gabriel Flaute; a daughter, Joan Prenger; five brothers, Walter, Carl, Elmer, Norb and Leonard Flaute; three sisters, Henrietta Bensman, Dorothy Hoying and Mary Flaute; and three grandchildren.
He was a retired farmer and attended Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, Casella, and was a member of the Catholic Knights Cassella, Maria Stein American Legion and a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps., serving in World War II.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. Jim Miller officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery with full military honors conducted by the Maria Stein American Legion.
Calling is 2-7 p.m. Sunday and 9-10 a.m. Monday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, St. Henry.
