* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

Occasional wind gusts of 35 to 45 mph are expected today.
Winds will mainly be out of the south early this morning, before switching to the west during the late morning and early afternoon.

Serving up breakfast

Breakfast with all the trimmings is a holiday tradition at Minster Elementary School. First-grade teachers Deb Kruse, left, and Ashley Rohrer serve Nadia Hernandez scrambled eggs, sausage, cinnamon rolls and fruit while Ethan Huwer and Alayna Albers await their turn on Tuesday. Students set the table and practiced table manners on the last day before Christmas break.
