Scattered snow showers will become more widespread through this afternoon and then likely linger into this evening before tapering off.
The snow showers will be capable of causing brief periods of reduced visibilities, especially this afternoon. In addition, brisk conditions will prevail with west winds gusting in the 30 to 40 mph range today.
Light snow accumulations will be possible, mainly on grassy and elevated surfaces. While roads will remain mostly wet during the daytime hours, some slick spots may develop toward sunset as temperatures begin to drop below freezing.
Please be prepared for the changing weather conditions today and the potential for reduced visibilities when driving.

Donald Raudabaugh
Donald E. Raudabaugh, 84, of Wadsworth died Jan. 1, 2010.
He was born March 21, 1925, in Celina, to Duard and Beryl Raudabaugh. His wife of 58 years, Ruth, survives.
Other survivors are a son, Bruce (Kathy) Raudabaugh, Mentor; a daughter, Kay (Mark) Wittorf, Columbia, S.C.; a sister, Madonna (George) Barr, Albuquerque, N.M.; a brother, Richard Raudabaugh, Zanesville; and three grandchildren.
Deceased is a brother, William Raudabaugh.
He was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Wadsworth, where he was a former deacon, former president of the Consistory, and treasurer. He was a World War II U.S. Navy Veteran, a graduate of Case University where he received a Bachelor's of Electrical Engineering, and was retired from Ohio Brass after 42 years of service, having been Director of Research.
Services are 1 p.m. today at the church, the Rev. Daniel Doty officiating. Burial is at Woodlawn Cemetery.
Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, Wadsworth, handled arrangements.
Contributions can be made to the church or Hospice of Medina County.
