* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...The following counties, in west central Ohio, Auglaize, Darke, Mercer and Shelby.
* WHEN...Until 700 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 356 PM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Fort Loramie, New Bremen, Minster, Newport, New Knoxville, Russia, Osgood, Willowdell, Chickasaw, Kettlersville, Yorkshire, Lake Loramie State Park, Egypt, Maria Stein, Mccartyville and Houston.

Mary Lou Hughes
St. Peter native Mary Lou Hughes, 71, of Dayton, died Jan. 8, 2010, at her daughter's home in Virginia Beach, Va.
She was born May 28, 1938, in St. Peter to William and Ida Borgerding Timmerman. Her husband, Gordon Hughes, died Dec. 29, 1986.
Survivors are three sons, Dwain Hughes of Florida, Clint Hughes of Idaho, and David Hughes of Dayton; three daughters, Cindy (Dwight) Weirich, Virginia Beach, Va., and Diane Cunningham and Chris Rhodes, no addresses given; a sister, Laura Wendel, Fort Recovery; two brothers, Leroy Timmerman of Michigan, and Roscoe (Elsie) Timmerman, Fort Recovery; 12 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two brothers, John and Eugene Timmerman.
She was a homemaker.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Her body was cremated.
