Division II Boys District at Ohio Northern University

ADA - For the first time in 36 years, the Celina boys basketball team can call itself district champs.
And it came in dramatic fashion.
Greg Riemesch delivered the game-winner for Celina with two seconds left in the game and the Green and White escaped Ohio Northern University with a 54-53 win over Elida in the Division II district final on Saturday night. [More]

The reputation of the Old Farmer's Almanac may be at stake.

MINSTER - Trustee and museum curator Mary Oldiges delivered the "state of the state" address at Sunday afternoon's annual meeting of the Minster Historical Society, predicting 2010 could be even busier than the hectic pace set in 2009.
FORT RECOVERY - Local business owner and volunteer Tess Kaup was awarded the 2009 Citizen of the Year Sunday night at the 30th annual awards banquet at Fort Recovery Elementary.
Division IV Girls Regional at Elida
ELIDA - Minster, using different combinations of players, had the right formula on Saturday night in knocking off Riverdale, 51-41, to capture the Division IV Elida Regional championship at the Elida Fieldhouse.
ELIDA - With the absence of injured Erica Fullenkamp from the lineup on Saturday, Minster coach Nann Stechschulte was concerned about finding someone who could run the offense and also do a majority of the ball-handling, which was Fullenkamp's role on the team.
