Scattered snow showers will become more widespread through this afternoon and then likely linger into this evening before tapering off.
The snow showers will be capable of causing brief periods of reduced visibilities, especially this afternoon. In addition, brisk conditions will prevail with west winds gusting in the 30 to 40 mph range today.
Light snow accumulations will be possible, mainly on grassy and elevated surfaces. While roads will remain mostly wet during the daytime hours, some slick spots may develop toward sunset as temperatures begin to drop below freezing.
Please be prepared for the changing weather conditions today and the potential for reduced visibilities when driving.

James Uhlenhake
James "Jim" Uhlenhake, 57, St. Henry, died at 5:45 a.m. April 26, 2010, at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton.
He was born June 13, 1952, in St. Henry, to Thomas and Marie Brunswick Uhlenhake, who are deceased. On Dec. 15, 1979, he married Diane Rammel, who survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Lisa and Jill Uhlenhake, both of St. Henry; two brothers, Robert (Alice) Uhlenhake and Dave (Janet) Uhlenhake, all of St. Henry; a sister, Mary Ann (Dale) Heitkamp, St. Henry; and a mother-in-law, Edna Rose, Fort Recovery.
Deceased is a son, Matt Uhlenhake.
He worked as a self-employed truck driver for Uhlenhake Trucking in St. Henry. He was a member of the St. Henry Catholic Church.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church, the Rev. Benedict Magabe officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Wednesday and 9-10 a.m. Thursday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home in St. Henry.
