Anna Topp
Anna Mae Topp, 82, 6541 Knoxville Ave., New Bremen, died at 8:50 a.m. April 29, 2010, at the Heritage Manor Nursing Center in Minster.
She was born April 12, 1928, in New Bremen, to Wilbert and Helen Luelleman Quellhorst. On July 2, 1949, she married Everet Topp, who survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Gary (Kathrine) Topp, Fredericksburg, Gene (Ellen) Topp, New Bremen, and Greg (Kathy) Topp, Hilliard; a brother, Paul (Dorothy) Quellhorst, Celina; a sister, Janice (Bill) Dorsten, St. Marys; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was a member of the St. Paul United Church of Christ in New Bremen, where she also taught Sunday School for many years. She also attended the Faith Alliance Church in New Bremen.
Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home in New Bremen, the Rev. Becky Erb Strang officiating. Burial will follow at the German Protestant Cemetery in New Bremen.
Calling is 9:30 a.m.-11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Contributions can be made to the church memorial fund or to the Alzheimer's Association.
