At 1212 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near New Bremen, moving northeast at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to vegetation.
Locations impacted include... Newport, Fryburg, Montra, Egypt, Uniopolis, New Bremen, Buckland, Botkins, New Knoxville, Fort Loramie, Kettlersville, Moulton, Jackson Center, St. Marys, Anna, Kossuth, Lakeview, Lake Loramie State Park, Waynesfield, and Wapakoneta.
This includes I-75 in Ohio between mile markers 96 and 118.

Robert Mertz
Robert A. Mertz, 82, 4050 North Star- Fort Loramie Road, New Weston, died at 11:50 a.m. May 2, 2010, at Briarwood Village in Coldwater.
He was born May 14, 1927, in Anna to John and Catherine Behr Mertz. On Feb. 24, 1949, he married Alvera J. Steinbrunner, who survives in Burkettsville.
Surviving are nine daughters, Catherine (John) Holthaus, Sidney, Karen (Charlie Bland) Rosengarten, Covington, Irene (Garold) Rismiller, New Weston, Rose (Bill) Payne, Anna, Marie (Jim) Gengler, Coldwater, Dot (Chris) Dues, Coldwater, Bertha (Jim) Hamberg, Tipp City, Barb (Jerry) Fullenkamp, Coldwater, Nancy (Dan) Rindler, Coldwater; four sons, Donald (Donna) Mertz, Chickasaw, John (Bets) Mertz, St. Henry, Paul (Carrol) Mertz, Fort Recovery, and Joe (Deb) Mertz, St. Henry; a sister, Sr. Mary Adeline Mertz, C.P.P.S. Salem Heights; four brothers, Charles (Alma) Mertz, Sidney, Bernard (Rosetta) Mertz, Botkins, Thomas (Norma) Mertz, Minster, and Patrick (Kim) Mertz, Tacoma, Wash.; a brother-in-law, Herbert Quinter, St. Henry; 46 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a grandchild; two sisters, Theresa Fiely and Margaret Quinter; and an infant brother, John Mertz.
He retired from Werling and Son in Burkettsville and was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church in Burkettsville and its Holy Name Society.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Burial is at St. Bernard Cemetery in Burkettsville.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9-9:45 a.m. Wednesday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home in Fort Recovery.
