Mark Stewart
Former St. Marys resident Mark A. Stewart, 53, died May 16, 2010, at Jay County Hospital in Portland, Ind.
He was born Sept. 1, 1956, in St. Marys, to Joe and Jeanne Miller Stewart. On Dec. 28, 1981, he married Kimbra McAbee, who died Aug. 1, 2003.
Surviving are two sons, Mark (Brittney) Stewart, Jr., and Jacob Stewart, all of Portland, Ind.; a daughter, Cara (Golden) Stouder, Celina; a step-son, Don (Trinda) Cooke, Portland, Ind.; a brother, Jesse Stewart, Toledo; two sisters, Lori Stewart, Celina, and Christine Young, St. Marys; a half-sister, Linda Bright, Colorado, and six grandchildren.
He worked as a semi-truck driver for over 25 years.
Funeral services are 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Portland Chapel of the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home, the Rev. Paul VanCise, officiating. Burial is at Resthaven Cemetery in St. Marys at a later date.
