Robert Baumeier
Former Coldwater resident Robert L. Baumeier, 69, Tavares, Fla., died at 12:15 a.m. June 13, 2010, at his home.
He was born Sept. 2, 1940, in Ottawa, to Ralph and Anna Marie Buddelmeyer Baumeier. On Jan. 8, 1966, he married Joyce Ebbing, who survives in Tavares.
Also surviving are two children, Marcia (Brad) Kremer, Tipp City, and Steve (Jayma) Baumeier, Oakridge, N.C.; a sister, Sue (Mike) Schroeder, Findlay; a brother-in-law, Stan (Vicki) Ebbing, Coldwater; a sister-in-law, Elaine Ebbing, Coldwater; and three grandchildren.
Deceased is a brother, Kenneth Baumeier, and a brother-in-law, Clem Ebbing.
He was a member of the Coldwater Knights of Columbus, the Mercer County Elks, Celina Moose and the Port Clinton Yacht Club. He served three years in the U.S. Army. He worked as an engineer at IBM in Dayton.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. June 24 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Coldwater, the Rev. Ron Wilker officiating. Burial is at St. Elizabeth Cemetery in Coldwater.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. June 23 and 9-10 a.m. June 24 at Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater.
