The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Phyllis Egbert
Phyllis J. Egbert, 81, Anna, died at 11:01 a.m. July 27, 2010, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys.
She was born Nov. 25, 1928, in Middletown to Arthur and Mildred Chester Croft. On April 18, 1981, she married John A. Egbert, who survives. She was previously married to Merritt M. Wood Jr., who is deceased.
Surviving are six children, Cathy J. Dotson, Columbus, Ind., Janis (Don) Jones, Elkhart, Ind., Davis Wood, Elkins, Ark., Timothy (Joan) Wood, Mansfield, Priscilla Wood, Cincinnati, and James (Patty) Wood, Anna; five stepchildren, Mark (Debra) Egbert, Anna, Lee Egbert, Troy, Darla Colebaugh, Tipp City, Doug Egbert, Dayton, and Darrin Egbert, Columbus; nine grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; four great-grandchildren and eight stepgreat-grandchildren.
Deceased is a brother and his wife, Don and Dottie Croft.
She worked as a homemaker and was a teacher at New Bremen and Minster schools. She received a bachelor of science degree in education and a master's degree from Wright State University in Dayton.
Funeral services are 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Long & Folk Chapel in Wapakoneta, the Rev. Shawn Morris officiating. Burial is at Loramie Valley Cemetery in Botkins.
Calling is 5-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
