Grand Lake's Nick Bruns makes a play on the ball during Friday afternoon's game with Lima at Jim Hoess Field. Bruns, a St. Henry graduate who pitched at Bowling Green, got the start at shortstop in the Mariners' 6-5 loss to the Locos. The Mariners traeled to Cincinnati after the Lima game for a game against the Cincinnati Steam, where the Mariners won 8-5.
