Some boys play volleyball in the Bryson pool in Celina on Wednesday afternoon shortly after the net was set up for the first time. Pool manager Mary Cisco said the activity was added to try to boost evening attendance and attract older kids. Cisco said pool managers are exploring allowing the volleyball area to be rented out and/or holding tournaments. A night swim held at the pool Wednesday night from 9 to 11 p.m. attracted 300 swimmers. There will be one more before the season ends Labor Day weekend. Regular pool hours are 1-5 p.m. and 6-8:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 1-7 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.
