Light snow is expected to develop across the area after midnight, shifting to the southeast through the predawn hours. This band of light snow will affect the region by the Thursday morning commute, eventually pushing south of the area by mid- morning.
Minor snow accumulations of less than an inch are expected, but cold ground conditions will allow for quick accumulation on any untreated surfaces. The main impacts are expected to be reduced visibilities and some slick spots on untreated surfaces.
Motorists should exercise caution. Plan extra time for the Thursday morning commute.

Alberta Stein
Alberta A. Stein, 82, Fort Recovery, died at 6:55 p.m. Aug. 23, 2010, at Briarwood Village in Coldwater.
She was born June 3, 1928, in Dayton, to John and Olive Wendel Doll. On Nov. 25, 1948, she married Herbert E. Stein, who died Dec. 3, 1980.
Surviving is a son, Mike (Sandy) Stein, Fort Recovery; a brother, John (Bobbie) Doll Jr., Conway Ark.; and three grandchildren.
Also deceased is a sister, Patricia Balderaz.
She worked at Fort Recovery Industries and was a graduate of Julienne High School in Dayton. She also was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in St. Joe.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. Charles Mullen officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. today and 9-9:45 a.m. Friday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home in Fort Recovery.
