The former Woody's Marina on 36 High St., Montezuma, was destroyed after the structure caught fire Friday afternoon, according to Montezuma Fire Chief Ron Schulze. Montezuma firefighters were dispatched to the property at 3:54 p.m. Schulze said the building was engulfed in flames when his crew arrive. The fire was extinguished in a half hour, he said. The cause of the fire was unknown and a state fire marshall was later called to the scene. No one was in the building at the time of the fire and there were no injuries, Schulze said.
