Local firefighters participate in a haz-mat training exercise at the Mercer County Fairgrounds on Wednesday. The training focused on a school bus and chemical truck colliding with children being exposed to the chemical. Mercer County emergency management agency planned the event with participants from Celina, Montezuma and Coldwater fire departments, the Red Cross, Celina City Schools and the county emergency medical service. The event also served as an in-service for area bus drivers, with 180 drivers in the audience.
