Unsightly brush and undergrowth will be removed from the Miami and Erie Canal in the coming months as part of a ditch project by the Auglaize County Engineer's Office. Contracts for the project, which also involves stabilizing eroded banks and replacing damaged culverts, should be awarded by the end of the year.
