Up in smoke
Photo by Betty Lawrence/The Daily Standard

Celina firefighters put out a combine fire in a field along Dibble Road at 3:02 p.m. Thursday. Celina Fire Department Lieutenant Chris Cline said Dennis Howick of Howick Farms noticed a diesel smell and smoke coming from his combine when he placed the call for help. It took firefighters 15 minutes to extinguish the flames as the leaking diesel kept re-igniting, Cline said. No one was injured in the fire.
