Myrtle Streine
Myrtle Kramer Streine, 104, formerly of Minster, died April 28, 2010, at John Knox Village in Pompano Beach, Fla.
She was born March 4, 1906, in Minster to John Frederick and Mary Herkenhoff Kramer. In 1934, she married Frank Berndt Streine, who died in 1970.
Surviving are four children, Carolyn (Lloyd) Kropp, Frank (Dorothy) Streine, Catherine Streine and Joan Hartford; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was a graduate of St. Mary's College of Notre Dame in South Bend, Ind., in 1928. She was a teacher at Minster High School.
A memorial service is 10 a.m. Saturday at N.J. Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Minster, the Rev. Rick Nieberding officiating. Burial of cremated remains will follow at St. Augustine Cemetery in Minster.
