Areas of fog across the area this morning is reducing visibility to one mile or less in some locations. The fog will diminish in the mid to late morning. Until that occurs, motorists should slow down, use extra caution, and be prepared for changes of visibility along their route.

Report recommends 2nd alum study in spring

GRAND LAKE - Officials are recommending another alum study be conducted on Grand Lake this spring after results released Thursday showed the first test failed.
The $250,000 Ohio EPA-funded pilot test was done to determine if alum could reduce the lake's toxic blue-green algae by taking away phosphorous, the algae's main food source. Alum binds phosphorous into a floc and causes it to drop to the lake's bottom. [More]

CELINA - Visitors to the Celina Fieldhouse have often said that the home of the Bulldogs is a difficult place to play.
