Periods of light snow can be expected tonight with some scattered snow showers then lingering into Monday morning. Snow totals of around an inch or less will be possible. Increasing winds later tonight and Monday morning will support blowing snow, primarily in rural areas.
Challenging travel conditions will be possible starting tonight and continuing through the day on Monday. Use caution and allow for extra time to reach your destination.

A few hours of light snow are expected late this evening, mainly after 8 pm. While accumulations will be light, some challenging travel conditions may develop given the cold temperatures.
Additional snow may linger through Monday morning with accumulations remaining light. However, increasing winds and very cold temperatures will support blowing snow, primarily in rural areas.

* WHEN...From 7 AM Monday to 9 AM EST Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...The cold wind chills as low as 10 below zero could result in hypothermia if precautions are not taken. Wind chill values can lead to hypothermia with prolonged exposure.

Wilfred Coughlin
Wilfred "Bill" S. Coughlin, 83, Fostoria, died at 10:07 p.m. Jan. 19, 2011, at his home.
He was born July 21, 1927, in Wendelin to Charles and Margaret Schmitz Coughlin. On June 23, 1951, he married Ruth Ann Homan, who died Feb. 19, 2009.
Surviving are his children, Margaret (Mark) Trotta, Woodbridge, Va., Elaine (Tom) Swindling, Cincinnati, Kevin Michael (Jeanne) Coughlin, Avon Lake, and Beth (Brad) Kopala, Columbus; in-laws, Greg Smith and Jerry Yost; and several grandchildren.
Also deceased are a son, Kevin Gerard Coughlin; a daughter, Carol Smith; brothers, Greg, Herbert, Lawrence and Dominic Coughlin; and sisters, Emma Coughlin, Helen Hemmelgarn, Elizabeth Banford, Marcella Moorman and Julia Forthofer.
He retired as a regional sales manager for the former G. Heilemann Brewing Company and also had been a handyman at St. Catherine's Care Center, Fostoria. He graduated from Fort Recovery High School and was a WW II Navy veteran, serving as a motor machinist's Mate 3rd Class. He was a member of St. Wendelin Catholic Church, American Legion and Knights of Columbus 3rd & 4th Degree.
Funeral Mass is 1 p.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. James Walsh officiating. Burial will follow at St. Wendelin Cemetery, where the United Veteran's of Fostoria will have military honors.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Hoening Funeral Home, Fostoria, where a Christian wake service will be held at 3:45 p.m. and a 4th Degree honor guard from 6-8 p.m. with a Chalice presentation at 7:45 p.m.
Memorials are suggested to Community Hospice Care, Tiffin, or Fostoria Right to Life.
