Betty Hile
Betty Jean Hile, 82, St. Marys, died at 2:20 p.m. Jan. 26, 2011, at the Golden Living Center in St. Marys.
She was born Feb. 16, 1928, in St. Marys to Jim and Verda Cramer Micheal. On Aug. 16, 1947, she married Arthur Hile, who died Feb. 16, 1998.
Surviving are two children, Connie (Steve) Shannon, St. Marys, and Rick (Glenda) Hile, St. Marys; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Also deceased are six siblings, Helen Davis, LaDonna Linn, Joe Micheal, Marilyn Micheal, Darlene Whitaker and Jim Micheal.
She worked at the former St. Marys Cotton Mill and the former Goodyear Tire & Rubber plant in St. Marys. She also was a homemaker and attended Shekinah Temple in St. Marys.
Funeral rites are 2 p.m. Monday at Miller Funeral Home in St. Marys, the Rev. Judy Ball officiating. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's wing of the Golden Living Center in St. Marys.
