The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Richard Miller
Richard "Dick" Miller, 79, St. Marys, died at 7:06 p.m. Feb. 5, 2011, at his home.
He was born May 8, 1931, in Napoleon to Wilbur and Helen Gerkin Miller. On Feb. 26, 1955, he married Jessie Elaine Deuel, who died Oct. 29, 1992.
Surviving are five children, Douglas (Marianne) Miller, Columbus, Larry Miller, St. Marys, Linda (Bruce) Zimmerman, St. Marys, Judy (John Bricker) McDermitt, St. Marys, Sue (Steve) Koenig, New Bremen; a sister-in-law, Phyllis Cook, St. Marys; a brother-in-law, Dick Boehning, Florida; 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Also deceased are four brothers, Bill, Wilbur Jr., Leroy and Gale Miller; two sisters, Arlene Reimers and Katheryn Boehning; and a granddaughter.
He was a 1950 graduate of Saginaw High School in Saginaw, Mich. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He retired from the former Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in St. Marys.
Funeral rites are 11 a.m. Thursday at Miller Funeral Home in St. Marys, the Rev. Jon Kraner officiating. Burial with military honors is at Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Becky Koenig Memorial Scholarship Fund.
