The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Albert Quinter
Albert J. Quinter, 89, Troy, died Feb. 4, 2011, at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima.
He was born April 5, 1921, at Cranberry Prairie, to Joseph and Philomena (Huwer) Quinter. On June 1, 1946, he married Dorothy Mae Schulte, who survives.
Also surviving are five children, George Quinter, Lake City, Tenn., Eileen (Nick) Nolan, Troy, Rita (Harry) Busse, West Milton, Fran (Jim) Sheenan, Springboro, and Mary (Bob) Drumheller, Knoxville, Tenn.; five siblings, Rudolph Quinter, Minster, Leona Pleiman, Fort Loramie, Edna Lampert, New Bremen, Pauline Kohler, Botkins, Maurice (Dorothy) Quinter, Fort Loramie; a brother-in-law, Cletus Huelsman, Dayton; a sister-in-law, Mary Ann Quinter, Fort Loramie; 13 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are nine siblings, Dorothy Dresher, Henry Quinter, Rosella Osage, Henrietta Barlage, Adelina Huelsman, Loretta Huelsman, Stella Klikovizs, Robert Quinter and Anthony Quinter; and three in-laws, Lorette, Betty and Elloise.
He was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Fort Loramie. He worked at Carrier Corp. of Dayton, formerly known as Wiedke Tool Co.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church, the Rev. Steven Shoup officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 5-7 p.m. Wednesday and 9-10 a.m. Thursday at Gehret Funeral Home in Fort Loramie.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
