* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...The following counties, in west central Ohio, Auglaize and Mercer.
* WHEN...Until 415 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 110 PM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Coldwater, New Bremen, Minster, St. Henry, Fort Recovery, New Knoxville, Chickasaw, Montezuma, Carthagena and Maria Stein.

* Flash Flood Warning for... West Central Auglaize County in west central Ohio... Northeastern Shelby County in west central Ohio...
* Until 400 PM EDT.
* At 108 PM EDT, trained weather spotters reported flash flooding across the warned area. Between 2.5 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are possible.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Trained spotters reported.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
* Some locations that may experience flash flooding include... Anna, Jackson Center, Botkins, New Knoxville, Kettlersville, Montra, Mccartyville and Maplewood.

Max Hesse
Max E. Hesse, 74, Celina, died at 1:30 a.m. March 22, 2011, at Lima Memorial Hospital.
He was born April 5, 1936, in Mendon, to Harry and Isalena Davis Hesse. On June 9, 1957, he married, Melanie Esmonde, who survives.
Also surviving are three children, Scott Hesse, Spencerville, Brad Hesse, Hillsdale, Mich., and Lora (Joe) Schlueter, Celina; a brother, Richard (Marilyn) Hesse, Mendon; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Deceased is his stepfather, Merle Shimp.
He graduated from Mendon High School in 1954. He was a member of the Hamilton-Bethel United Methodist Church in Mendon and he attended St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Celina. He owned and operated the former Hesse Interiors. He also worked for Stock Lumber Yard in Celina and Schlueter Home Services.
Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul's United Methodist, the Revs. Jeff Conrad and Don Klinger officiating. Burial is at Mendon Cemetery.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church.
Memorials may be made to St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Celina or Hamilton Bethel United Methodist Church.
